WESHARE
WESHARE is designed to accelerate the business sector’s energy transition by promoting to remove financial, regulatory, and technical barriers to energy cooperation. 3 pilot projects in Belgium, Portugal, and Spain will be allowing the creation of scalable and replicable models for industrial energy communities.
Fostering energy collaborative approaches among companies, the project develops innovative tools to assess and unlock energy-sharing potential, enabling scalable cooperative solutions that reduce fossil fuel dependence and carbon emissions.
WESHARE intends to demonstrate to institutional investors the bankability of complex renewable energy projects that have industry at its core for supporting the EU’s 2050 climate neutrality strategy.
