Audit to Measure

The main aim of the AUDIT2MEASURE (Leading business towards climate neutrality by speeding up the uptake of energy efficiency measures from the energy audits) project is to support companies in the uptake energy efficiency measures identified in the audits. To this aim, AUDIT2MEASURE has developed a new engagement strategy (called “Audit2Action”) to put into action the opportunities emerging from energy audits, to overcome the obstacles for the implementation of the measures through the understanding of the decision making processes in companies and the position of energy efficiency in them. As part of this strategy, the project has started a capacity building program and has developed a “Knowledge Exchannge Space” to motivate the professionals in the companies to increase their capacity to implement the energy audit outcomes, supporting the implementation of a series of selected energy efficiency measures in the field.

Targeted sectors: C28 Manufacture of machinery and equipment is the main one, but we are targeting also some companies from other sectors

Benefits for companies: The main benefits for companies can be summarized as follows:

• Technical assistance to analyze the feasibility of energy efficiency actions, prioritizing those that come from energy audits or similar studies;
• Tracing and escorting in the process of implementing energy efficiency actions, including company managers and technicians;
• Resolution of technical, economic or regulatory doubts on these actions;
• Training in energy efficiency and sustainability;
• Promotion with other companies, disclosing their commitment to the environment and the reduction of CO₂ emissions, through networking sessions.
